Steelhead
Steelhead (migratory Rainbow Trout) can be found frequenting the tributary streams of Lake Erie in Ohio and Pennsylvania, offering three seasons of spectacular fly fishing adventure. From basic indicator nymphing to spey casting and stripping streamers, there is something for every level of experience. Let is be said, that chasing steelhead here on the Alley is a great way to introduce people, of all ages, to the sport of fly fishing!

Northern Pike
Northern Pike are found from the shores of Lake Erie to many of our inland water ways. Where they are found, they're often the apex predators. Being masters of ambush, the voracity and speed of attack is what draws people to fish for these great fish. Casting big flies is a prerequisite for this style of fishing, so be prepared. This isn't for the faint of heart or the beginner!

Smallmouth Bass
Smallmouth Bass are one of America's most popular and prolific sport fish. They thrive in streams and rivers and also call Lake Erie home. Averaging 12-15 inches in rivers, trophies will exceed 20" and Lake Erie fish of that size are not uncommon. These are great warm weather targets and a blast to chase all summer long! Some casting experience is recommended, but can be taught. The bass will take care of the rest!

Brown Trout
Brown Trout are arguably one of the prettiest fish swimming the rivers of North America and Pennsylvania streams are full of them. Whether they are sipping mayflies and caddis, slamming large streamers, or chasing mice in the midnight moonlight, there is something about trout waters that call to the best of fly anglers! Wade trips and floats are available. All experience levels welcome.
