Steelhead Alley Outfitters Guide; Patrick Robinson

 Patrick "Flybum" Robinson is an avid outdoorsman with a deep passion for fly-fishing. Patrick got his start in the great outdoors at the age of four. It was on the trap line, fishing for Bass, or on the occasional hunting trip that his true passions began to develop. As Patrick grew, so did his ambition for the outdoors!

It was in southern Indiana that Patrick’s passion for fishing really took off. Many days of his childhood were spent with conventional gear chasing various species of Bass in both still water and on rivers or creeks. In his teen years, his love for the sport grew to fishing tournaments…all the while he was dreaming of learning to fish on the fly. Nearly a decade ago, his fly fishing career left the ground as he pursued any and every avenue he could find.

Today, Patrick Robinson hails from Middlefield, Ohio in the heart of "Steelhead Alley." His fly-fishing experience has taken him coast-to-coast in pursuit of various warm and cold-water species in both saltwater and fresh. He is an accomplished writer, freelance photographer, fly-tier, and public speaker. He currently serves as Head Guide for Steelhead Alley Outfitters.
